LFV Sachsen – the app of the Landesfeuerwehrverband Sachsen
Representation. Support. Community. Perfectly connected.
LFV Sachsen – Landesfeuerwehrverband Sachsen e. V.
The Landesfeuerwehrverband Sachsen (LFV Sachsen), the Saxony State Fire Brigade Association, unites the strength of Saxony's fire brigades and acts as their main representative body at state level. As an umbrella organisation, it supports district and city fire brigade associations as well as local fire brigades on organisational, technical and social issues.
Its work focuses on promoting volunteering, strengthening youth fire brigades and continuously developing fire protection and disaster control. The association campaigns for modern equipment, up-to-date training and a reliable legal framework.
LFV Sachsen is also active in fire safety education, public relations and recruiting the next generation. It organises specialist events, competitions and statewide campaigns that strengthen the bonds within the fire brigade family.
As a trusted point of contact for policymakers and institutions, the association brings the fire brigades' expertise to legislative processes and security policy debates.
