BDH app (Bund Deutscher Heilpraktiker e.V.)
Bund Deutscher Heilpraktiker (BDH) e.V., the Federation of German Heilpraktiker, is one of the leading professional associations in Germany for Heilpraktiker – state-licensed non-medical practitioners of natural medicine. As a nationwide representative body, the association works to secure, promote and develop the Heilpraktiker profession.
The BDH is committed to high quality standards in naturopathy, protecting therapeutic freedom and recognition of the Heilpraktiker profession as an established part of the German healthcare system. It sees itself as a bridge between traditional naturopathy and modern medical knowledge.
The association's core tasks include supporting its members on specialist, professional and legal questions and promoting continuous professional development. With a wide range of seminars, specialist conferences and advisory services, the BDH supports practitioners at every stage of their careers.
The BDH also represents its profession's interests in health policy. It actively brings the profession's positions to political discussions, legislative processes and public debates, with the aim of strengthening the role of naturopathy in medical care and securing its future.
Working with other professional associations, specialist societies and institutions, the BDH champions holistic healthcare in Germany.
